Vocational Training in the Field of Installing Gypsum Partitions in Jordan from the Vocational Training Corporation

The Vocational Training Corporation announces a training course in the field of installing gypsum partitions in Jordan. This program will extend for one semester with an average of 700 hours. You will work alone or under the supervision of the general gypsum supplier or the interior design technician, and you will determine the items and specifications of the work materials, starting from the drawings and executive plans, estimating their quantities and costs, choosing the tools and machines necessary for the work, preparing gypsum boards according to the required measurements, up to preparing the installation sites, and conducting operations Installing gypsum partitions according to the drawings. You will take measurements from the site, match them with the shop drawings, determine the items and quantities of raw materials for the work, you will also select and prepare the tools, determine the operating lines, detail the structures and assemble them, install them in their locations, install the material, cut the gypsum boards, empty the places of openings, and install the gypsum boards according to the required designs, installing the panels, and covering the joints between the panels. You will also inspect the plaster breakers, determine the type of damage, and perform the necessary maintenance.

Upon completion of the training program, you will become capable:

• Learn about gypsum and its uses in dry construction.
• Learn about the necessary tools.
• Install the metal structures.
• Install suspended ceilings.
• Final finishes being made.
• Carrying out maintenance work.

• Your age should not be less than 16 years when joining the program.
• You must be able to read and write.
• You must be fit in healthy.
