Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Australia is offering international bachelor students the opportunity to apply for the International Merit Double Degree Scholarship. Scholarships are available in the following majors:
- Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Communication
- Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Creative Industries
- Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Design
- Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Fine Arts
- Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Engineering (Honors)
- Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Games and Interactive Environments
- Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Information Technology
- Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Mathematics
- Bachelor of Communication (Digital Media)/Bachelor of Information Technology
- Bachelor of Creative Industries/Bachelor of Information Technology
- Bachelor of Design (Interaction Design)/Bachelor of Information Technology
- Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Business
Eligibility Criteria:
- A high-achievement scholarship for future international science and engineering, business and creative industries undergraduate double degree students.
- You must have completed a qualifying course with the required academic result.
- You must meet the minimum English language entry requirements for the degree program. If you complete a QUT pathway program for the purpose of satisfying QUT English language requirements, you may be eligible for this scholarship once you start your degree program.
- You must apply for and be accepted into one of the double degree courses mentioned above.
- You’re not eligible if you receive another QUT academic scholarship
- You must have received 12 A level points based on the aggregate of your best 3 academic subjects (GCE A levels) OR an aggregate of 34 in the International Baccalaureate (outside Australia).
- To receive the ongoing scholarship after your first two semesters, you must maintain a minimum overall grade point average (GPA) of 5.5 on the QUT 7-point scale throughout your course at QUT.
- You must have demonstrated academic excellence in their past studies.
- You must continue to achieve high standards for the duration of their studies.
- As part of streamlined visa processing, QUT must ensure that your application is genuine and that you can successfully complete your planned study. It will consider a range of personal and academic factors when we assess your application, including your immigration history, including any prior visa refusals, your personal circumstances and the relevance of your proposed study to your previous study and work experience.
You Will Receive:
A scholarship to cover 25% of your tuition fees for your first two semesters (one year) of study at QUT. This scholarship is based on your entry score.
