The Community Leadership Challenge Competition for Jordanian to Win 5000 JD

The King Abdullah Fund for Development launched a national youth competition in Jordan, to find a solution for the challenges facing different sectors through the Community Leadership Challenge project to open up opportunities for their creativity and transform them into opportunities.

About the Contest

In line with His Majesty King Abdullah II's vision that youth are the main drivers of change and the discovery of the youth's abilities to find solutions to the challenges facing their societies and the distribution of development gains across the various governorates, the Fund has endeavored to achieve sustainable development in various fields, Positive change in society.

Value of financial support:

It will be a JD(5000) for the best project in each governorate. The winners of the competition will also receive a training program for being well trained and qualified.

Competition Objectives:

1. To invest in the energies of young people and create opportunities-generating projects.
2. To appreciate the social entrepreneurs of Jordanian youth who have innovative solutions to face the challenges in their communities.
3. To support Jordanian youth to help them implement new pilot projects and/or develop existing projects, to improve their quality and enhance their impact on society.
4. To encourage Jordanian youth to compete in a positive way and to spread the culture of initiative, giving and active citizenship among them.
5. To present models for young people who have been able to make a positive change in their communities as a role model for Jordanian youth.

Terms of Application:

1. Applicant must be a Jordanian 
2. Applicants must be at least 22 years of age and not more than 35 years old at the time of receiving applications.
3. The applicant must be a founder or co-founder of a project within the framework of community leadership.
4. The applicant can be an individual or a youth group
5. Have an important issue or problem of your project and you have to think in the community issues as a priority.
