Opportunity description

One of Ontario’s great higher institutions, Ryerson University is offering partial scholarships to international students who enroll in doctoral engineering programs. The Ryerson International Student Scholarship (RISS) was created to support a limited number of international students enrolled in doctoral engineering programs. 

Scholarship Amount:

The scholarship has a value of $7000 and it is non-renewable.  A RISS can be held in conjunction with an RGF, GDA, and any other source of funds except those that defray the cost of international student tuition fees.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant must:

  • Be a current candidate in one of the institution's doctoral engineering programs.
  • Have a good academic record.

Selection Criteria:

Selection is based on the total amount of funding from other sources provided to students who qualify, as well as their academic record.
