Opportunity description

Bill Jenkins The School will award one sum £3,000 on a competitive basis to a successful applicant commencing Master's level study in September 2020.

Kent University in the UK is offering a scholarship for international students who demonstrate financial hardship and be undertaking a Master's at the School of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research, starting in September 2020 on either a full-time or part-time basis. This award will be in addition to any Kent scholarships and discounts.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Have applied to study a Master's at the School of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research at the University of Kent
  2. Preference will be given to candidates on the MA International Social Policy
  3. Study to commence in September 2020
  4. Be able to demonstrate financial need

Benefit:

The School will award one sum £3,000 on a competitive basis to a successful applicant

Required Documents:

  • Details of your previous studies
  • A research proposal (usually between 1000-3000 words)
  • Contact information for two referees
  • Evidence of proficiency in English, where applicable.
  • Applicants should provide a supporting statement explaining why they wish to embark upon their chosen Master's and how the Bill Jenkins Award would benefit them. The statement should not exceed 500 words.
