INSEAD announced the Dr. Samih Darwazah Endowed Scholarship 2020. This endowed scholarship has been established by the Darwazah Foundation in honor of the late Dr. Samih Darwazah (1930 – 2015), Founder of Hikma Pharmaceuticals and a prominent leader in Jordanian politics and business. A devoted philanthropist, Dr. Darwazah was a strong believer in education as a means of improving the quality of life of individuals but also of whole countries, societies and communities.
The scholarship will provide financial support to a deserving MBA student from Jordan or Palestine. It will help to attract the best talent to the INSEAD MBA program while at the same time maintaining the exceptional diversity that is the hallmark of the school.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan or Palestine. Priority will be given to candidates who grew up in one of these countries. Applicants are required to fill in the diversity scholarship application form and essay questions, and to justify their financial means. Only candidates who are admitted to the MBA program or are in the interview process may apply.
Amount of Award:
The amount of this INSEAD scholarship varies from 15,000 EUR to 25,000 EUR depending on the financial circumstances of the candidate.
