Opportunity description

The Jordanian-American Commission for Educational Exchange (JACEE), also known as the Binational Fulbright Commission in Jordan, was created by a Bilateral Agreement signed in May 1993 between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the United States with funding provided yearly by both nations. The Commission seeks to promote mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of Jordan and the United States by facilitating academic and cultural exchanges for American and Jordanian citizens. The Commission is an independent, non-profit, binational organization responsible for the administration of prestigious grants awarded on a competitive basis to Jordanian and American students, teachers and scholars to study, teach, lecture and conduct research in the U.S. and in Jordan, chiefly within the context of the worldwide Fulbright Exchange Program.
