Opportunity description
The Queensland University of Technology is offering a scholarship for future postgraduate students applying for an MBA in the QUT Business School in Australia.
Eligibility criteria:
You must:
- be applying to study with our Graduate School of Business for the first time
- apply for and be accepted into our Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Selection criteria:
The Scholarships Committee will assess your application based on your:
- GMAT score
- previous grade point average (GPA)
- work history
- personal statement of no more than 1,000 words
- detailed CV
- referee reports.
Academic entry requirements:
- A completed recognized bachelor degree in any discipline with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 4.5 (on QUT's 7-point scale).
- A GMAT score of at least 550.
- A minimum of three years full-time equivalent relevant managerial or professional work experience post-degree.
- Submit two completed referee report forms.
- You may be required to be available for an interview with the MBA Director to demonstrate relevant work experience.
- Minimum English language requirements:
- IELTS Academic: 6.5
- TOEFL iBT: 79
What you'll Receive:
You'll receive one of:
- a tuition fee waiver scholarship, covering a quarter, half or all of your tuition fees
- a merit scholarship, awarded at:
- $500 for a GMAT score of 600-699
- $1,000 for a GMAT score of 700 or more.
- If you receive a tuition fee waiver scholarship, you won't be eligible for a merit scholarship.
