Opportunity description
Al al-Bayt University, in cooperation with Kings College London in the United States, the American University of Beirut, the KIRON Foundation for Open Education in Germany and the FutureLearn Foundation for Open Education in the United Kingdom, offers a training program for Syrian refugees and Jordanians from the city of Mafraq in the field of Information Technology. The program is part of the Partnership for Digital Learning Increased Access (PADILEIA) and supported by the British Council. It will last for 8 months, and participants will be trained through various IT training programs that will help them find jobs later and complete their university studies, providing the opportunity for Syrian refugees to contribute to building their country at the end of the war and return to Syria.
Requirements:
[1] Jordanian high school certificate or equivalent
[2] Passing an English exam determined by the university
Benefits:
Studying in this training program is free of charge and a transportation allowance is paid for Syrian and Jordanian students enrolled during the study period.
