Financial Grant to Receive EGP 750,000 for Start-Up Projects 2019

Flat6Labs Cairo announced the Flat6Labs Cairo Accelerator Program 2020 for Egyptian entrepreneurs. Flat6Labs Cairo fosters and invests in bright, passionate Egyptian entrepreneurs with cutting-edge ideas. Started as the first Flat6Labs office in the MENA region in 2011, Flat6Labs Cairo supports and encourages entrepreneurs in the first critical development phase. Each cycle, 8-10 promising teams are selected to participate in the Flat6Labs Cairo program.

In essence, each startup helps define a product, develop a core value proposition, develop a balanced business plan, and commercialize a company to receive follow-up funds. At the end of each cycle, Flat6Labs Cairo will host a demo day event, giving the team the opportunity to showcase their products to potential investors and media. If the applicant has a successful bidding team to build a fully furnished company with promising market potential, he graduates from Flat6Labs and receives additional funding to set up a company. A solid interactive program is about creating an independent and successful company led by a team that can make informed decisions.

When applicant selects a team to participate in the Flat6Labs Cairo Accelerator program, they receive:

• Cash Assistance (EGP 500,000 – EGP 750,000)

• In-depth analysis of the hands-on market and business models with accelerator teams
• One-to-one session topic
• Various perks and services from Flat6Labs Cairo partners (over $ 300,000).

They support startups through a vast network of organizations, partners, educational institutions, advisors, mentors, coaches, and investors. These offerings and partnerships with startups take the place of a fixed 10% stake in each startup.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must be fully committed during the 4-month program.
• Applicants must live in Cairo during the 4-month program.
• Applicants must read and agree to the terms outlined in the standard semester table.
