University of the Arts London (UAL) announces a partially funded scholarship for postgraduate students worth £50,000 in London.

Benefits

  • This scholarship will cover the costs of tuition fees and accommodation in one of UAL's halls of residence and may also contribute towards living costs.
  • The University will provide up to 4 international postgraduate scholarships worth £50,000 from UAL.
  • Tuition fees and accommodation costs will be charged directly from your tuition fees. Tuition and living costs will be paid directly to your bank account on a monthly basis.
  • If you have been awarded more than one UAL award or scholarship, you must choose which one you would like to receive, as you will only be able to receive one.

Eligibility criteria

  • You must have an offer to study a full-time Master's degree at one of UAL's colleges and institutes starting in 2024/25.
  • Your degree must be in one of the following areas: Grad Dip, M ARCH, MA, MFA, MBA, MRes, or MSc.
  • Your full-time degree must be in London as courses offered online will not be accepted.
  • You must be a resident of a low-economy country. The list excludes the following developed countries: Canada, China, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and EU/EEA member states.
  • You must attach evidence of your address such as a copy of your immigration documents, ID card or official proof of your address as part of your application or that you are seeking asylum in the UK when submitting your scholarship application.
  • Your annual household income must be £25,000 or less (or the equivalent exchange value in the currency of the eligible country) when you apply.
  • You must submit a personal statement as part of your scholarship application that answers the following questions (max. 350 words per question):
    • Describe how receiving this scholarship will make a difference to you.
    • How you intend to use the qualifications you will gain to support your future plans.
    • How will you deal with the challenges in your country?
    • How will you support the values of social justice and environmental stewardship?
