Opportunity description
Applications are open for the 2025 UNESCO World Heritage Residence Scholarship. This scholarship is for individuals with cultural ideas (art, music, research, etc.) related to the UNESCO World Heritage list who want to connect the World Heritage site "Decorated Farmhouses of Hälsingland" with one or more sites worldwide in a cultural or artistic way.
Requirements:
- The scholarship is international and open to artists, researchers, and other cultural actors worldwide.
- Region Gävleborg awards the scholarship to someone with an idea related to the UNESCO World Heritage list, connecting the Decorated Farmhouses of Hälsingland to another World Heritage site artistically, culturally, or through research.
Benefits:
- One-month residency in one or two World Heritage farmhouses.
- A grant of 50,000 SEK to carry out the project.
- Travel to and from Sweden and a car during the stay.

- Applications must be submitted between December 16th, 2024, and February 16th, 2025.
