Global Competition for Innovative Projects and the chance to win € 2,000 from Energy Globe

Energy Globe Award open the participation in a competition for the most innovative and sustainable projects. If you are interested, Energy Globe is also able to connect you to potential investors. In each participating country, the best project is awarded the National Energy Globe Award. The winning project is presented in the global online platform of Energy Globe and also in the national media. The best projects will be honored as part of a ceremony that will be broadcast worldwide as well as featured in the international media. 

Winners will receive:

1. Cash prize of € 10,000, which is divided among the 6 categories.
2. Recognition from international environmental experts.
3. Media exposure of your efforts to save the world.
4. Connections to prominent environmental activists.
5. Setting an example to others/ Being a role model to others.

You should follow the following criteria:

• Any company, organization (i.e. NGO, club, school, university), individual or public authority that contributes to climate change and other environmental issues.
• The award is for projects in the categories: Earth, Fire, Water, Air, Youth, and Sustainable Start-Ups.
•  Projects should provide solutions to:
•  air, soil, and water pollution.
• apply renewables and increase energy efficiency.
• demonstrate sustainable use of the planet’s resources.
• contribute to environmental education. 
• No project is too big or too small.
• An applicant can submit more than one project.
• A project can be submitted in any country, regardless of whether it has been awarded a project in this country before.
• It is admissible for one contestant to enter several projects.
• Excluded from participation are political initiatives.
• By entering a project, participants agree that their data may be processed and utilized by Energy Globe and its partner networks.

 Evaluation Process:

• An international jury evaluates each project based on different criteria. 
• First, Energy Globe national awards are determined on a country level and presented. 
• Second step, the best projects from each country are nominated for the Energy Globe World Award (international awards).

Please note: The Energy Globe World Award event is the highlight of the year, where the best projects are featured to a global audience.

About Energy Globe Award:

The Energy Globe, the World Award for Sustainability, is today’s most renowned environmental prize worldwide, as established by the American agency Arthur D. Little in a survey. The goal of the award is the presentation of innovative and sustainable projects to a global audience as there are many great and implemented solutions to most of the environmental problems. The awareness of the importance of these projects is increased by the Energy Globe Award which leads to a multiplier effect. All projects offering solutions to the environmental problems, especially concerning the reduction of emissions and pollution, can participate. The database of the Energy Globe has grown over the years and now contains around 20,000 projects submitted from 2000-2019. All of these are projects which have been implemented successfully in the whole world.
