Translator Vacancy at MPHCO in KSA

MPHCO is offering a job opportunity, as it's looking for a Translator to interpret written and audio pieces in different languages, making sure to maintain their original meaning, format and tone.

• Translate (7-10) pages* per day (depending on the nature of translation) in variety of fields including (but not limited to) medial reports, press releases, books, booklets, theses, websites, marketing materials, etc. and providing support to the Legal translator.
• Assist to gather all standards terminology use for all fields.
• Extending support to the Translation Department for developing business, enlarging the customers’ base & importing state of the art technologies, software…etc.
• Using specialist dictionaries, thesauruses and reference books to find the closest equivalents for terminology and words used.
• Follow various translation-quality standards to ensure legal and ethical obligations to the customer.
• Compile information on content and context of information to be translated and on intended audience.
• liaise with clients to discuss any unclear points.
• Identify and resolve conflicts related to the meanings of words, concepts, practices, or behaviors.
• Reading through original material and rewriting it in the target language, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained.
• Preparing clients documents and make sure stamped and sent to him.  
• Prioritizing work to meet deadlines. 
• Weekly update of translation services over the world.
• Assuming any translation-related assignment/assignments referred to him by the Translation Manager and providing assistance whenever so required

• Language and translation graduate majoring in the English language
• Computer skills 
• Excellent research skills

• Familiarity with translation software
