NeuroLeap Corp is looking for talented Speech and Language Pathologist. You will help specialists in diagnosing and providing intervention to children that could have many types of disabilities/challenges in disenfranchised/remote neighborhoods.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Assist in creating training tools to rehabilitate speech and/or language impairments, with or without the use of adaptive devices.
- Assist in assessing patients who may require aiding devices.
- Help in designing and implementing research and analysis plans.
- Conducting analysis, test scoring and equating standard-setting, and reliability and validity studies for small- and large-scale testing programs.
- Developing and using psychometric tools to critically evaluate the accuracy of results and decisions made during the operational scoring of tests.
- Identify and/or develop the way each test and question/task is scored.
- Analyze test and item-level results using appropriate methods, equating, linking & scaling of tests.
- Work with content development to ensure that item pools meet the needs of the program.
- Help develop a plan that ensures that examination services comply with industry standards for security, validity, reliability, fairness, and defensibility.
- Help develop an appropriate test design including mode of administration, test specifications, and pretest strategy.
- Collecting and analyzing data gathered through various means (e.g., focus groups, surveys, extant databases).
- Writing technical reports and orally presenting project findings.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Pursuing at least a BA in speech and language pathology, or closely related disciplines are preferred.
- Be willing to work on a variety of tasks and projects and possess a desire to learn and develop inventive methods that respond to client needs.
- Ability to document requirements and specifications.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Advanced attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Solid communication skills (written and verbal).
- It's preferred if you know how and when to use assessment tools such as:
- CELF-V
- PLS-5
