Opportunity description

Zain offers a training opportunity at the Zain Youth Foundation in the retail field in Bahrain. You will be responsible for performing store activities reported by the store supervisor, in terms of sales, collection, and customer service in accordance with ZAIN BH sales guidelines, business processes, and procedures to assist customers by responding to their inquiries, questions, and complaints with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism in order to achieve customer service objectives, you will also be responsible Troubleshooting, updating records, keeping customers informed on the progress of solutions to their issues, and handling Mobile Number Portability (MNP) requests.

Duties & responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Selling products and services (postpaid and prepaid lines, mobile phones, accessories, vouchers) and all kinds of after-sales services to new and existing customers.
  • Develop your product knowledge by keeping abreast of product and service offerings as provided by ZAIN BH.
  • Inspect and report problems with store appearance and maintenance.
  • Use TABS smoothly and without errors.
  • Flexibility to handle additional tasks assigned by the team leader or manager.
  • Managing the process of opening and closing shops in coordination with the team leader.
  • Take inventory regularly in coordination with Team Leader.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and find the correct answers through advisory systems, helpdesk, and other records.
  • Assisting those involved in maintenance/updating customer accounts, billing inquiries, and collecting payments.
  • Manage inventory at points of sale, ensure safe storage, and assist with reconciliations.
  • Collect payments from customers in a safe and orderly manner.
  • Handling issues and customer complaints, resolving their issues, logging complaints into the system, and escalating issues to management/helpdesk when needed.
  • Handling and accounting for cash and other payments.
  • Collect and verify required documents, such as identification, forms, and receipts, and hand them over to the Store Supervisor at the end of the shift.
  • Comply with all applicable policies and regulatory requirements regarding information security.
  • Perform any other related tasks as assigned to you.

Eligibility criteria

You must be:

  • A university student in your second year of study or above.
  • It is preferred that you have experience in the field.
