Rotana Hotels in Abu Dhabi, UAE offers a full-time job opportunity for the position of chief security officer. It is currently seeking enthusiastic, dynamic, and committed Security Professionals who want to move their career forward along with the growth of the company. As a Chief Security Officer, you will be responsible to protect and safeguard all hotel guests, employees, their belongings, and all hotel assets.

Duties & responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will be:

Direct and coordinate the activities of all security personnel.
Ensure that all hotel properties are adequately secured at all times.
Prepare daily incident reports, requisitions, and other inter-office memos.
Ensure that all allegations of the crime and other incidents are investigated and recorded.
Prepare annual security goals.
Liaise with Department Heads to ensure hotel employees are adhering to established security procedures.
Coordinate with external police authorities in the investigation and handling of crimes, accidents, etc.
Perform all tasks consistently in line with the hotel standards and adhere to all legal and statutory requirements.

Eligibility criteria

You must have:

Graduate and a certified security professional with previous experience in a similar role preferably with a hotel security background.
Additional certifications like CPR, First Aid, BHV, or the use of AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) are a definite plus.
Fluency in English in both written and spoken.
The capability to follow safety and security rules and procedures without compromises at all times.
A positive and proactive attitude.
Ability to direct the team, stay calm under pressure with attention to detail.
Understanding Hotel Operations and teamwork skills.
Planning for Business and supervising people.
Customer focus and effective communication.
Adaptability and drive for results.
