Opportunity description

Google is hiring for a Customer Learning Lead, Cloud Learning Services in Canada. This role is part of Cloud Learning Services (CLS), whose mission is to ensure that customers and partners get the most out of Google Cloud offerings, whether Cloud or Google Workspace. The Training team is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training that enables customers and partners to use Google’s products and offerings effectively and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include structuring learning programs and offerings, managing partners, and providing monthly reviews to internal stakeholders (VP+). You will work closely with multiple other internal teams, including those from the broader Training organization such as Training Operations, Pursuit Leads, Local Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, and Partner teams to drive business success.

Duties & responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Building and leading the regional training strategy for campaigns, learners, business and bookings.
  • Managing the learning services business process and forecasting, taking customer use cases from inception through delivery and leveraging learning packages sold.
  • Collaborating with sales developers and customers to capture customer use cases and requirements and develop a training strategy for individual accounts and act as a point of contact for training.
  • Working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) certified external training partners.
  • Building a trusting relationship with customers early in the lifecycle of large agreements.
  • Providing updates to the field sales team and professional services team.

Eligibility criteria

You must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years of experience in training, sales, client management or professional services working at CxO levels.
  • Experience in client management or professional services.
  • Experience leading digital transformations for clients using cloud-based solutions (IaaS/PaaS), as well as managing agreements across developers, sales, support, professional services and distributed teams.

Preferred:

  • 5 years of experience navigating client organizational structures, developing and selling service solutions and delivering on time.
  • Experience writing and negotiating agreement documents and proposal documents for professional services engagements.
  • Experience in industry standard financial concepts and metrics.
  • Experience in account/project management and client-facing roles, leading enterprise clients through business or technology transformations.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in both French and English to support clients in Quebec.
