Opportunity description

EY is hiring Saudi Nationals as Receptionists in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for receiving external and internal visitors to the office as well as handling all incoming calls courteously and professionally according to the Reception Guidelines. You will also be responsible for handling all meeting room bookings efficiently and promptly.

Duties & responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Welcoming visitors and clients in a courteous, professional and polite manner.
  • Promptly informing the appropriate person of the visitor’s arrival and meeting or escorting the visitor to the meeting room, providing refreshments, tea/coffee etc.
  • Ensuring that the reception area and meeting rooms are kept clean and tidy throughout the day and ready for meetings.
  • Providing visitor badges to guests/clients, when required.
  • Answering all incoming internal/external calls promptly and in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Screening calls to confirm the caller’s name and purpose before redirecting them, especially calls with unclear purpose (sales, market/staff information gathering etc.).
  • Ensuring that callers are connected/redirected to the appropriate person promptly, or that verbal message is received accurately and passed on to the appropriate person in a timely manner.
  • Conducting international business calls on behalf of staff requiring this service in the office.
  • Managing and confirming meeting room bookings/reservation requests via calendar.
  • Reconfirming all bookings/reservations on a daily basis.
  • Ensure reservation cancellations are promptly acted upon and updated, allowing rooms to be available for other bookings.
  • Manage meeting arrangements and logistics, event preparations, planning catering needs and requirements, etc.
