Umniah is offering a job opportunity in Amman, Jordanas a Business Planning & Reporting Officer.
Duties & responsibilities
- Collect and organize relevant data from internal and external sources, and analyze it to identify trends and insights for reporting purposes.
- Create accurate and comprehensive reports based on the analyzed data, present information in a clear and concise format that is easily understood by stakeholders.
- Monitor and adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards, identify deviations and potential risks and report them to relevant parties.
- Present reports to senior management, executives, and other stakeholders, utilize data visualization techniques to enhance understanding and impact.
- Monitor and analyze data and reporting metrics over time, identify areas for improvement or potential risks and recommend appropriate actions.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance reporting processes for improved efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness, propose and implement solutions to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting procedure.
- Regularly perform commission calculations using established methodologies, ensure timely and accurate calculations to meet payment deadlines and maintain sales team satisfaction.
Eligibility criteria
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, business administration, or data analytics.
- A master's degree is preferred.
Level of Experience: Intermediate Experience in Reporting and Data Analytics.
Certifications & Licensure:
Essential:
- Advanced Excel, Power BI
- Data Analytics and Visualization Certification
Desirable:
- SQL
- Python
- Business Analytics (BA)
Tools & Systems:
- Power BI
- MS Access
- PowerPivot
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Excellent command of data manipulation and analysis
- Excellent knowledge of building business and financial models concepts
- Business-related sense combining both Marketing and Finance
- Excellent command of computer skills (Microsoft Office)
