Opportunity description
Deloitte is hiring for an AI Solutions Architect in Canada. You will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end AI-driven solutions while ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems and cloud platforms. You should have experience in both traditional IT systems and advanced AI/ML technologies, with a focus on building scalable, secure, and efficient architectures that leverage cloud-native services. You should also have a deep knowledge of AI/ML models, modern development frameworks, and cloud services (particularly Azure), as well as experience integrating them with traditional enterprise platforms and infrastructures.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- AI Solution Design: Lead the design, development, and implementation of AI and ML solutions, integrating them with existing enterprise systems or building cloud-native architectures.
- Enterprise Architecture: Design traditional, cloud, and hybrid solutions, integrating on-premises and cloud-based (Azure) systems that support AI and end-to-end applications.
- Leading End-to-end Application Development: Oversee end-to-end application development projects, directing the design and implementation of both front-end (React, Angular) and back-end (Node.js, .NET) components, integrating various AI-powered features.
- Cloud Integration (Azure): Design and implement various solutions using Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Machine Learning, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure App Services, Cosmos DB) to develop, deploy, and scale AI/ML models and applications.
- Integration of traditional and modern systems: Design solutions that seamlessly integrate traditional enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, data warehouses) with modern AI/ML models and applications.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure AI solutions comply with security best practices, data governance, and industry-specific regulations, whether on-premises or in cloud environments.
- Data Engineering: Design data structures to support AI and ML initiatives, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
- DevOps Integration: Implement DevOps practices (CI/CD, infrastructure as code) to deploy AI models and develop end-to-end applications using tools such as Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders, developers, and data scientists to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.

Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in solution architecture, with a focus on AI/ML solutions and a strong background in full-stack development.
- Strong understanding of machine learning models, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and AI tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure App Services, Functions, AKS, Azure Machine Learning, Azure DevOps) and implementing AI solutions in cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of front-end (React, Angular) and back-end (Node.js, .NET, Java) development, with experience building and implementing end-to-end applications.
- Experience with traditional IT infrastructure (e.g., databases, middleware, networking) and system integration across enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with data architecture, ETL pipelines, databases (SQL, NoSQL), and data source integration to develop AI models and full-stack applications.
- Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes), automated transformation, and CI/CD pipelines for both AI model implementation and application development.
- Understanding of security frameworks and compliance requirements, including identity management, data encryption, and secure coding practices.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to design complex technical solutions for both AI/ML and full-stack systems.
Proven ability to lead and direct teams, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer, or other relevant certifications.
- Experience in AI governance.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum practices to manage software development and AI projects.

- The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000.
