Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Assist and provide technical and professional engineering guidance regarding work standards, materials, parts and equipment that support operating facilities and operations.
- Share your knowledge with various professionals in the Procurement Department to achieve strategic objectives, regarding sustainability, risk management, supplier development, demand and supply management and local content development.
- Collaborate closely with the cross-functional category management team.
- Join supplier negotiations and commercial initiatives to translate technical requirements into requests for proposals and contract documents.
- Providing the necessary data to officials and operations experts to ensure that product specifications and technical details are adequately and correctly covered in the various procurement systems and the digital market.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent in science.
- Experience and knowledge in the field of oil and gas.
- From 2 to 5 years of experience in engineering design, materials engineering, maintenance engineering, research, or laboratory-related experience.
- It is preferable to have three years of work experience in Aramco.
- Strong knowledge of relevant materials, equipment and parts in area of expertise.
- Preferably familiar with materials procedures and policies.
- Proficiency in writing and speaking skills in English.
- Ability to work with ERP systems and complex technical data.
