Opportunity description

Aramex offers a job opportunity as a Senior Manager for key accounts in Qatar. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing customer relationships, acquiring new customers, and driving revenue growth through new business development.

Duties & responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Targeting strategic business partners in terms of value, market share, and volume.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with a select number of potential accounts by communicating with decision-makers and understanding different business challenges and opportunities.
  • Achieve revenue targets by taking advantage of opportunities, maintaining existing business, and maximizing new opportunities from the existing client base, to achieve agreed profit margins.
  • Achieve a high level of customer satisfaction by engaging key stakeholders across the network to maximize revenue growth and minimize loss.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers, working closely with various Aramex stakeholders to respond to customer inquiries and issues.
  • Contribute to the development of new solutions based on customer needs, market dynamics, and best practices, and ensure their proper implementation in coordination with all stakeholders.
  • Track and analyze the performance of existing accounts to develop new solutions for clients and create plans for new accounts to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Assist in completing RFPs for the purpose of obtaining new projects.
  • Gather required customer information and documentation to ensure clients are prepared appropriately.
  • Updating all customer information using the CRM system.
  • Support the Commercial Manager in forecasting customer sales and setting targets, to support the overall objective of the station.

Eligibility criteria

You must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any other field.
  • Proficiency in MS programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • At least 4 to 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in transportation, freight forwarding, and express.
Skills and competencies required for work:
  • Proven records in achieving organizational and personal goals.
  • Strong business acumen, industry knowledge, and the ability to use that knowledge in achieving long-term goals.
  • Strong work ethic and client-centric mindset.
  • Adept at working with global and local leaders to develop short and long-term goals specific to the organization.
  • Strong and adaptable team player.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all functional areas (managing cross-functional relationships).
  • Strong negotiation skills, and ability to integrate different strategies and achieve desired results.
  • Ability to influence all clients (internal and external) on issues affecting the business.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs and other tools.
