Opportunity description
Rotana Hotels is announcing a job opportunity as a Sales Manager in the United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for executing all sales activities and maximizing business opportunities with a primary focus on long term contracts. The role involves acquiring and retaining customers through various sales activities such as sales calls, face to face sales and other different sales channels.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring comprehensive and complete coverage of your own portfolio, covering all levels of Account Executive and Customer Service Executive management, and achieving desired targets.
- Implementing all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed set targets.
- Ensuring adherence to sales strategies during negotiations and maximizing sales opportunities whenever possible.
- Ensuring comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of the properties’ unique selling points, features, amenities, services, and policies.
- Drafting corporate offer letters, annual contracts, and any other business correspondence.
- Providing feedback on changing marketing conditions, including trends in competition, as a result of direct sales, telephone, and/or direct mail solicitations.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- University degree in Sales and Marketing with 2 years post-graduation work experience in a similar position.
- Good computer skills.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to work independently and consistently promote the brand image and position in the market.
- Understanding of hotel operations.
- Effective communication skills.
- Business planning skills.
- Ability to supervise people.
