Opportunity description

Hyatt Plus Dubai/Jumeirah offers a job opportunity for Arabic speakers to work as Sales Coordinators in the UAE. You will be responsible for assisting in the effective management of the department in line with Hyatt International strategies and brand standards while meeting the expectations of employees, guests, and officials. You will also be responsible for maximizing sales and achieving pre-established targets, working closely with room management, food and beverage, and other Revenue generating departments proactively.

Duties & responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Achieving your monthly and annual target of increasing sales revenue.
  • Develop and review a personal business plan linked to the hotel's annual business plan.
  • Ensure that the filing system, both paper and electronic, is maintained efficiently and accurately at all times.
  • Create an effective tracking file to ensure all work booked is properly tracked.
  • Database management.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures.
  • Customer service.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and constantly exploring new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with relevant operational departments to ensure guest requests and expectations are met.
  • Handling and resolving all customer complaints.
  • Conducting telemarketing activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Regular follow-up of sales.
  • Identify potential customers.
  • Attend and contribute to all relevant training sessions and meetings.
  • Respond to changes in the sales and marketing function dictated by the field, company, and hotel.
  • Carry out any other duties and responsibilities assigned to you.

Eligibility criteria

You must have:

  • Degree or diploma related to the field of hotel management or tourism.
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a sales coordinator in hotel operations.
  • Ability to solve problems well.
  • Good administrative and interpersonal skills.
