Opportunity description

Sapphire Recruitment Consultants is looking for a full-time Campus Recruiting Specialist to join the team and work in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. 

Duties & responsibilities

  1. Work closely with recruiting partner, school champions and head of recruiting to align on strategies for university recruitment (timelines, screening criteria, targets, profiles of interest, promotion points) and plan accordingly.
  2. Lead the execution of the hiring cycle for campus applicants from sourcing through offer stage, including profile screening, scheduling interviews, and issuing offers to new recruits, and acting as candidate main point of contact.
  3. Manage the recruiting timeline for MBA candidates in line with global offices.
  4. Organize and attend campus presentations, information sessions, coffee chats and sell events communicating our clients’ key messages and service offerings to candidates. Liaise closely with global recruiting counterparts for core MBA school cycles.
  5. Organize and attend student office visits from core school campuses in our clients’ offices, coordinating closely with student organizers and interacting with audiences to address questions from a recruiting perspective.
  6. Maintain strong and close relationships with global recruiting counterparts. Stay well informed on the global processes and be up to date on the latest recruiting messages.
  7. Cooperate closely with the marketing team for social media posts around campus events (pre, during and post events), providing photos and key information.
  8. Maintain campus recruiting calendar and attendance shared with recruiting team and other functions (BOMs for seniors’ attendance, marketing for social media posts, etc.).
  9. Lead the execution of the Ambassador Program (Sponsored Consultants) in close coordination with program champion and head of recruiting. This includes organizing and attending touchpoints such as events, communication (e.g., emails, phone calls, etc.), and virtual catchups.
  10. Maintain up-to-date record of all sponsored consultants across campuses and issue full time offers to returning sponsored consultants and returning summer associates.
  11. Lead promotion related efforts for returning sponsored consultants, closely monitoring the promotion process for each candidate ensuring issues/concerns/questions are attended to in a timely manner.
  12. Maintain strong relationships with sponsored consultants and understanding through them competitors’ recruiting strategies on campus.
  13. Act as the key POC for sponsored consultants during their time and attend to their requests (e.g., loan application, changes to contract, etc.).
  14. Maintain a calendar of events with sponsored consultants.

Eligibility criteria

  1. University Degree.
  2. 4 - 5 years of experience in HR/Recruiting required.
  3. Experience and interest in a fast-paced international client service environment.
  4. Solid recruiting experience ideally in a professional services environment with exposure to schools.
  5. Proficient in English, Arabic and French (a plus).
  6. Strong people and teaming skills.
  7. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  8. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point); Digital systems proficiency is a plus.
  9. Highly flexible; prepared to work out of regular hours and travel extensively.
  10. Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  11. Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  12. Ability to prioritize work and follow through.
  13. Flexible, mature attitude, and can gain credibility with seniors.
  14. High professional standards and excellent attention to detail.
  15. Display tact and diplomacy in dealing with all levels of staff, candidates, and external parties.
  16. Event organization.
  17. The ability to promote and market our client’s ambassador program.
  18. Must currently reside in the UAE.
