YouTube announces a job opportunity a Policy Escalation Specialist in Singapore. YouTube’s Trust & Safety team is fast, dynamic and proactive, dedicated to making YouTube a safe place for users, viewers and creators around the world. They oversee content policy, manage critical escalations and creator programs across all YouTube products with the goal of making the platform a trusted and safe place for users. As a Policy Escalation Specialist on YouTube’s Trust & Safety team, you will ensure that escalations are managed comprehensively, create a path to resolution and communicate with key stakeholders and the company’s executive team.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Performing strategic analysis, improving business performance, and delivering services in relevant product areas, including analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing solutions that improve business performance.
- Managing projects that involve multiple stakeholders, tight timelines, significant regulatory implications, and changing circumstances.
- Using Google Big Data to conduct data-driven analysis, design metrics, summarize information, solve problems, and influence business decision-making by providing insights and market trends.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams and leaders to resolve conflicts and communicate clearly about policy decisions.
Eligibility criteria
Must have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years of experience in data analytics, trust and safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related field.
Preferred:
- Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data mining/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or experience in a scripting/programming language (e.g. Python).
- Experience in content policy, anti-abuse, and online content review.
- Experience in quality processes and training.
- Ability to work under ambiguity and thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence at multiple levels.
