Job Opportunity as a Microbiologist Quality Control in Jordan at Hikma

Hikma offers a job opportunity as a microbiologist in quality control in Jordan. You will follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

You will be responsible for:

• Ensures adequate supplies and equipment are available for testing in order to assist the workflow of the microbiology laboratory.
• Analyses workflow, prepares metrics, and makes recommendations to improve productivity and efficiency and generate cost savings.
• Tests techniques and accuracy of all records and documentation that is in the lab in order to enforce policies and procedures that ensure the compliance of test results and raw data generated.
• Prepares laboratory records while maintaining accuracy, completeness, compliance, and conformance to specifications in order to be ready for both internal and external audits.
• Conducts instrument/equipment maintenance and calibration programs in order to troubleshoot and resolve any instrument/equipment issues.
• Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account international best practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
• Complies with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
• Performs other related duties or assignments.
