Opportunity description
Amazon offers a job opportunity as a market consultant in the United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for contributing to new business acquisitions by generating leads, communicating with them via phone/email, and supporting the business launch process for new sellers by making their wide range of products available to millions of customers on Amazon. You must possess strong relationship-building skills and the ability to explore profitable opportunities to grow the Amazon business. You will also be responsible for incorporating feedback from sellers to improve Amazon products, services, processes, systems, and tools for all third-party sellers working with cross-functional teams. You must have excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills as well as be able to work in a fast-paced and at times ambiguous environment, work independently, and take the necessary responsibility to achieve business objectives.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Identification and recruitment of high-potential Amazon.ae Marketplace Selling Partners.
- Prioritize and effectively lead a group of Selling Partners to achieve product opportunities and targets.
- Act as an advisor to vendors, providing them with data-driven insights and advice to improve their success and grow their business.
- Identify key business opportunities for your categories by discovering popular brands, trends, and prices to ensure portfolio management toward an effective growth plan.
- Undertake in-depth analysis of issues affecting Selling Partners' business performance and provide vendor feedback as a key input into product development and process improvement.
- Work closely with selling partners, educating them on various Amazon standards.
- Track and report business development results, analyze data, interpret reports and information, and publish recommendations and action plans to your selling partner portfolio.
- Partner with multiple stakeholders to align programs and initiatives to help drive the growth of your selling partner group.
- Identifying potential selling partners and introducing them to paid services.
- Possess an in-depth knowledge of Amazon tools and services to ensure they are efficiently adopted across various vendors.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Negotiation and selling skills.
- Bachelor's degree in economics, management, engineering, or any related degree.
- Analytical skills, whether in the field of professional experience (data analysis) or education.
- Written and verbal communication skills (English); The ability to express ideas logically and concisely.
- Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve targets in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
- Computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Preferably:
- Master's degree in management, business, or any related degree.
- Previous experience and track record in account management, product marketing, or management consulting.
- Experience in e-commerce, retail, and fashion.
- Knowledge of Excel, SQL, and advanced sales and productivity tools such as Oracle Business Intelligence, and knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
