Duties & responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Reporting to a Senior Manager in the Finance and Accounting Advisory team, you will be involved as a Senior Consultant in internal and cross-functional teams to develop and deliver strategic financial transformation projects covering financial policies and procedures, financial planning and budgeting, chart of account design, financial reporting, corporate treasury, reports Administration.
- You will play an important role in advising clients on strategic financing issues and designing solutions that can help address complex financing challenges and deliver sustainable results.
- Assist in the management and training of junior team members while working on various projects and mentor the consultants in the finance team.
- Keep abreast of current regional and global economic and business trends, particularly financial trends and the impact on clients so that you can help them shape their thinking and success in the marketplace.
- You will work collaboratively with colleagues in the wider advisory team and other lines of service, in order to shape clients' futures and drive positive change for them.
- You will have access to the latest training, development, and support tools from the wider PwC network.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Relevant experience ranging from 2 to 7 years in a similar role.
Preferably:
- CA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or CMA certification.
- Strong understanding and experience in financial policies and operations, financial planning and budgeting, billing closing, financial reporting, corporate treasury, management reporting, and taxation.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English languages.
- A customer-focused approach, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse internal and external teams.
- Experience supporting projects or working directly in at least two industry sectors, preferably in the public sector, telecommunications, industrial products, oil, gas, or utilities.
- Self-motivated and self-confident, with a strong work ethic and the ability to proactively drive projects and teams.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize workload with flexibility, and ability to handle well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- IT skills in the following software Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and G-Suite.
- Ability and willingness to travel within the Middle East region.
