Job in UAE: Associate Recruiter at GEMS Education

GEMS Education in UAE offers a full-time job opportunity for the position of associate recruiter and join its team early 2023. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring GEMS schools all are fully staffed with proficient, qualified teachers. You will manage the full cycle of the recruitment plan from advertising vacancies and shortlisting candidates to closing successful hires and ensuring the best possible candidate experience throughout the process.

You will be responsible for:

• Lead and deliver on the recruitment of all vacancies as per the operating model in assigned schools or clusters.
• Screen and interview prospective candidates and assess their suitability for the role through face to face, online or phone interviews.
• Long list and shortlist applicants to make recommendations to the next stage.
• Develop quality relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process from initial contact, through interview and on boarding processes, ensuring a positive candidate experience at all times.
• Implement employer branding initiatives and marketing campaigns to promote GEMS Education as an employer of choice for teachers globally.
• Maintain regular reporting and performance measures against metrics to share when required.

You must have:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of recruitment experience is essential, with some experience of agency recruitment preferred.
• Experience of working in the Education sector and/ or with bulk recruitment would be an advantage.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Experience of working with challenging targets in a KPI driven environment.
• Literate in all basic computer and HRMIS skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
