Al Tamimi & Company is currently looking for an HR intern in its DIFC office. The primary role will be to assist the recruitment function in sourcing business services and fee earner staff. Handle the internship program and register legal consultants and advocates with the relevant government entity.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- A to Z of coordinating the recruitment process of business services staff and fee earners (manage job postings, screen CVs, conduct assessments and provide feedback to hiring managers).
- Post and manage job openings.
- Assist with managing the internship program (screen applicants, assign to different legal departments, supervise progress, conduct exit interviews).
- Liaise with the government concerning registration, renewal and termination of legal consultants/advocates memberships.
- Assist with scheduling in training courses for fee earners and business services employees.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- University or college degree in HR or related field.
- Excellent command of English.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access).
- Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems and work within tight time frames.
- Organised, responsive and highly thorough problem solver.
- Ability to compose reports and correspondence.
- Ability to work professionally on your own and as a part of a team.
- Experience in working with an Oracle system is a plus.
