Deputy Head of Secondary English Vacancy at GEMS Education in UAE

GEMS Education is offering a job opportunity in THE CAMBRIDGE HIGH SCHOOL - ABU DHABI, UAE, as a Deputy Head of Department - Secondary English to join team from September 2023. 

That will be responsible for assisting with the running of a successful department and should have previous experience implementing outstanding teaching and learning practices both within the classroom and across a wider department setting.

1. A B.Ed or degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge
2. Significant experience teaching GCSE and A-Level or equivalent at a National Curriculum for England curriculum school
3. A proven track record of outstanding teaching and learning
4. Willingness to commit to Extra Curricular activities
5. A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom
6. Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents
7.
