Opportunity description

The ADB Internship in the Philippines is open to all nationalities. The Asian Development Bank provides a paid, project-based internship program that offers graduate students a chance to gain experience and understand how ADB operates. Applications for the ADB Internship 2025 are now open, with interns starting in January 2025. The program encourages motivated, open-minded candidates to apply, and there is no IELTS requirement for participation.

ADB offers internships twice a year for Master’s and Ph.D. students. Undergraduate students currently enrolled are not eligible to apply. Most internship positions are based at the Asian Development Bank Headquarters in the Philippines. The internship lasts from 8 to 11 weeks.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Monthly Stipend: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) offers students a generous stipend lasting up to 26 weeks. Ranging from $1,000 to $2,200
  • Airfare Ticket: The ADB also Funds and provides airfare tickets from the home country to the internship location.

Eligibility criteria

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Master’s or Doctoral degree program at a university in one of  ADB’s member countries.
  • Be a national of one of  ADB’s member countries.
  • Have excellent skills of English.
  • Proof of English language test is not mandatory.
