Opportunity description

Ernst & Young offers an internship in Tax Services in Singapore. They are looking for highly motivated individuals with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize shifting workloads in a rapidly changing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Tax: Ernst & Young business tax services help clients succeed by assisting them with the strategic and operational challenges facing their tax functions, analysing tax opportunities and benefits that can be attained by them, assisting clients in identifying and managing strategic opportunities and risks that relate to significant prospective planning, and providing tax-related domestic and cross-border planning and compliance assistance to business-connected individuals and their associated entities. Be part of a global team that helps build sustainable tax strategies; assesses, improves and monitors tax functions’ processes, controls and risk management; and supports clients in managing effective relationships with tax authorities. You'll help businesses meet complex demands for tax reporting, compliance and planning, and tax policy and controversy
  2. Indirect Tax: You'll advise clients how indirect taxes such as value added tax (VAT) or goods and services tax (GST) impact their supply chain and financial and accounting systems.
  3. People Advisory Services (Mobility): As part of People Advisory Services Mobility team, it gives you the opportunity to manage the complex challenges of deploying a globally mobile workforce. Ernst & Young helps clients manage their business issues relating to their global workforce by providing immigration and global mobility HR policy compliances and advisory services to their international assignees.
