Job in Jordan: Writer and Translator at For9a's Headquarter in Amman

If you're passionate about translation, research, and writing and would like to develop your skills in these areas and gain new experiences and build upon your previous knowledge within those fields; join For9a.com's team as a "Content Writer and Translator" and have the chance to work full-time preceded by a three-months experimental period.

Main Duties: 

The content writer will work at For9a's headquarter in Amman, and will be responsible for:

1. The development of the website content with the other members of the team through brainstorming sessions.
2. Conduct research on various related topics that can be posted on the website.
3. Writing and translation of articles from English to Arabic.
4. Editing the translated articles in accordance with the objectives and visions of the site.

Eligibility

Applicants are required to:

• Have a bachelor's degree in Translation or Languages or any related field.
• Be a resident of Amman.
• Have 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
• Have excellent grammar, syntax, and rhetoric style in both English and Arabic.
• Have the ability to deliver fluent and precise translation and convey the meaning to the reader in a clear and authentic way.
• Have the ability of creative writing.
• Be familiar with common dictionary semantics, and have the ability to extract the meanings of words, terms, and expressions in light of the linguistic context.
• Be autonomous, flexible as well as being able to accept feedback and work-related notes given by the supervisor.
• Have the ability to work under pressure.
• Have accurate and ordered work ethics, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Be familiar with the laws and regulations of translation, keep in line with copyright laws and to avoid literal translation as well.
• Be able to perform routine paperwork skillfully.
• Share the same goals and visions as For9a's.
• Be detail oriented.
• Be able to think outside the box in order to develop the website's content.
