Chan Zuckerberg initiative offers ambitious and high performing undergraduates with exceptional analytical skills the opportunity to join the Chan Zuckerberg team as a Finance Intern in Palo Alto, Spain. The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative is dedicated to advancing human potential and promoting equal opportunity through technology, grantmaking, impact investing, policy, and advocacy work. The finance intern will have the following responsibilities:
[1] Assist with financial planning processes related to planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
[2] Partner with initiative teams to build measurement metrics for potential technologies, projects, grants, or investments
[3] Help build-out robust financial planning processes and tools
[4] Participate in cross functional company task forces on various projects
Applicants must be currently pursuing an undergraduate degree major or concentration in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, have written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently, and demonstrated judgement to know when to ask for help. Applicants are preferred to have an experience in an analytical role and/or experience in management consulting, operations and/or finance within a start-up environment.
