Accounting Internship in the U.S

Giving Children Hope, a nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating poverty through disaster relief and health and community development, is looking for a motivated volunteer to work at their California office as an Accounting Intern. The Accounting Intern will work with the accounting and bookkeeping departments in learning practical on the job training of accounting systems and will  assist in analyzing the cost of programs including the gathering of cost of data and creation of cost worksheets and reports on Excel and Word.

Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements as follows:
[1] Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of accounting
[2] Ability to analyze financial data and perform moderately complex statistical and cost functions
[3] Good interpersonal skills
[4] Someone willing to work as a team
[5] Junior/ Senior in college or recent college graduate
