Choosing a College Major
What will you gain from the session?
Through this session, we help students make the right decision to choose their university/vocational major. Since there are many factors that influence the student's major selection; Such as passion and interest, personal characteristics, academic abilities, and job market requirements, we help you choose your major taking into account all of these factors.
This session takes place online with a specialized academic counselor with extensive experience in guiding students and helping them choose their undergraduate major. This service is useful for high school students who have difficulty choosing a major and also for undergraduate students who want to change their university major.
Workshop Mentors
Hind Abushkhadim is a youth development and education expert, she is a Ph.D. candidate in Gender and Intersectional Studies and holds a master’s degree in Global Development Studies & Foresight from an ERASMUS Mundus program. With her experience, she has led many trainings and projects in the field of education, career guidance, entrepreneurship, youth engagement, and intercultural dialogue, which helped hundreds of youth to be empowered to establish their start-ups or to improve their skills to face high unemployment rates. Hind is the Middle East-Africa winner of the Google+ Social Media Marketing Competition - 2013. Her campaign sought to empower women and fight the negative stereotypical images of women in the region, and worldwide.
